To ensure high grinding efficiency, the angle between the grinding disc or grinding wheel plane and the workpiece surface should be 15° to 30°, and the edge of the grinding disc or grinding wheel (about 2.5cm) should come into contact with the workpiece
When using the angle grinder, if there are a large amount of sparks, replace the carbon brushes, open the carbon cover (located on both sides of the machine handle) with screwdriver, remove the old brushes and place the new ones, ensuring them can slide freely in the holes, then tighten the brush cover
Replace both brushes to reduce sparks
Note:
1. Before using the angle grinder, make sure to install the protective cover.
2. Prior to using the angle grinder, check the linear speed of the grinding wheel, which should not be less than 80m/s; Ensure the grinding wheel thickness is consistent, with uniform grain distribution; When lightly tapping the grinding wheel with a wooden hammer, there should be no sound of breakage.
3. The production date of the grinding wheel should be within one year; If the production date exceeds one year, the performance of the reinforced resin may change, and a rotational strength test of the grinding wheel must be conducted to ensure safe use.
5. Grip the angle grinder firmly before starting.
6. Prior to grinding or cutting, check the rotation direction of the grinding wheel; The rotation direction of the grinding wheel should match the arrow direction indicated on the head of the gearbox, with the arrow direction indicating the rotation direction, otherwise the angle grinder should not be operated.
7. Do not use water or grinding fluid.
8. When in use, do not clamp the angle grinder with a bench vise or other fixtures.
9. Wear glasses when operating the angle grinder to prevent abrasive particles from splashing into the eyes.
10. Do not place the angle grinder down until it has completely stopped rotating.
11. Always pay attention to the handling, the power cord does not contact with the grinding wheel.
12. If the angle grinder falls to the ground or collides with other objects, check whether the grinding wheel and body of the angle grinder are damaged, broken or deformed.
13. If you need to use an extension cord, please use the double insulated power cord with the same specifications as the power cord used in this angle grinder.
14. When operating angle grinder in wet and narrow working areas, use automatic circuit breakers to guard the operator.
15. When operating, start the angle grinder first, and then contact the workpiece; When stopping work, first leave the workpiece and then close the angle grinder.
